FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does it take to replace my glass?

On average it takes about an hour to an hour and a half for the replacement. Expect it to take about 2 hours, just to be safe.

How long does it take to repair my windshield?

Every chip is different in nature; some may fill much quicker than others. On average, it takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish.

What is MDAT?

MDAT stands for “minimum drive away time.” This is the minimum wait time to ensure the vehicle is road ready, starting from the time the adhesive is applied.

It's supposed to rain… will this cause any issues?

Rain will not be a problem. Any precipitation that occurs once the glass has been installed will not cause any issues.

Is aftermarket glass as good as OEM?

Aftermarket glass is just as good as OEM. All auto glass has to be made to specific standards, so the real difference is that aftermarket glass won't have a vehicle manufacturer's logo on it.
